ACS Publications Launches New Citation Manager Functionality

If you use Endnote, Reference Manager, ProCite or BibTex, ACS has now made it so that you can download directly to those programs.

Beilstein security patch - September 21

Hi all, tomorrow the Beilstein server (housed at the U of Wisconsin) will be getting a patch to the access control system. This patch should be transparent to 99% of users.

What's the other 1% you ask? Well, if you cannot connect, check to make sure the group name is set correctly. You can change your group name under the OPTIONS menu//CHANGE GROUPNAME.

Wiley Interscience Unavailable Saturday Morning

Due to essential maintenance, Wiley InterScience (Wiley's e-journals and e-encyclopedias) will be unavailable on Saturday, 10 September 2005 from 06:00 to 08:00 US EST (11:00 to 13:00 GMT).

New Library Web Page

As I mentioned earlier in this blog, the library has been working hard on its new Web pages. The redirects were put into place last night and the new pages are up as of this morning. As with all new site launches, there will be glitches. Please let me know if you have pages that were bookmarked and that are not redirecting to the right page. Also, we've got a few gaps to fill in with new pages, so please bear with us. In the meantime, have a look at:
