The Chronicle of Higher Education is now available online at: http://ezproxy.lib.ucalgary.ca:2048/login?url=http://chronicle.com.
Its RSS feed comes highly recommended - it's a good way to stay up-to-date with higher ed issues. You will need to take out the ".ezproxy.lib.ucalgary.ca" i.e.:
http://chronicle.com.ezproxy.lib.ucalgary.ca/news/rss.xml --> http://chronicle.com/news/rss.xml
Library news & information for students, staff, and faculty at the University of Calgary, including: New library services, new journals, database updates, new books and other materials, Web sites, & other interesting tidbits.

CAS basic RSS feed for site now available
This is from the CHMINF-L list, Feb 1/06:
We are happy to inform you that CAS has released a basic RSS feed from the www.cas.org web site.
This will initially be a single feed that will encompass all news and updates from CAS. Additional feeds, perhaps on specific topics, might be offered in the future depending on feedback and user requests.
The RSS feed from CAS is based on the RSS 2.0 specification.
Those interested should be able to receive and read this feed using any of the well known news reader applications such as FeedBurner or NetNewsWire, services such as Bloglines and My Yahoo, and browsers such as Firefox and Safari (Mac OS 10.4).
Links to the feed are currently on the CAS homepage (http://www.cas.org), the CAS What's New page (http://www.cas.org/new.html), and on the CAS Press Room page
(http://www.cas.org/New1/releases.html).
Feedback, comments, or questions can be sent to the CAS webmaster (webmaster@cas.org).
