New enhancements in SciFinder

See:

http://www.cas.org/ASSETS/88B542FC19B544C99BB77930C89B5998/whatsnew.pdf

I haven't checked out the new features in-depth yet, but it looks like CAS has added some Web 2.0-ish features that are only available to the Web version. These include:
- being able to comment on references
- tagging references
-"connect with SciFinder Colleagues" - this looks like something one does in order to share your tags and comments

Other non-Web 2.0 features that are also unique to the Web version are:
- limit reactions by solvents
- get similar reactions (search algorithm looks for single-step reactions with identical reaction centres and related structural characteristics)
- exporting various things into MS Excel (i.e. properties, analysis data.)

On a similar note, the client version of SciFinder is no being longer supported by CAS. So, all new interface enhancements will be made to the Web version only.

Correction: the client version IS still being supported by CAS, but there won't be any enhancements to it. There's no word on whether/when CAS will stop supporting the client version.
