New Features: SciFinder Web

Some new features for SciFinder (Web version), from the SCIFINDER email list:

- Find patent information, not previously available to SciFinder users, related to a chemical structure of interest by using Explore by Markush Structure.
- Search references by Digital Object Identifiers (DOI). DOIs are also displayed in the bibliographic detail for easier reference management and document look-up. (DOIs were first assigned to documents in 2000. Older documents will not have a DOI. CAS is trying to expand DOI coverage for the articles it indexes so right now, not all records will include the DOI.)
- Use new highlighting to identify and group reactions with matching transformation centers.
- New monthly frequency Keep Me Posted alert.
- Preference to automatically remove MEDLINE duplicates.
- Prioritize answer sets in ascending and descending order.
- Sort substance answer sets by molecular formula and molecular weight.
